Peter Gene Hernandez , known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Born on 8 October 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was raised by a family of musicians, Bruno Mars began making music at a young age and performed in a lot of places in his hometown throughout his childhood.
He is someone I admire.
According to Wikipedia, Mars graduated from high school and then moved to Los Angeles, California, for more opportunities. He also produced songs for other artists and joined The Smeezingtons which was a team which produced music.

Top of the pops – CES’s Songs of the Week
CES Post music Editor Abdullahi Kabiru (7LN) presents his playlist of the week made up of the songs everyone is currently grooving along to. If these songs aren’t yet among the most-played on your iPod they should be.
